Can anyone tell me how to get the steering column off

I need to change out my Turn siginal stalk with a new one . I have it all unbolted and it is still stuck. Any tips for a noob?

I think you need to remove the steering wheel, pop the center cap you need a 21mm socket and an extension I think to get the wheel off.

are you changing just the signal stock or the entire column?

The turn signal stock is only held in my two screws.

the signall stock . I just can't get the bottom or top plastics of the column off to start with LOL.

The plastics can be a pain. Don't be afraid to use a little force and manipulation. I never took one off, but putting it back on sucked. If you break one they aren't too expensive to replace.

i had to take the steering wheel off. oh! and you need the key in the ignition to release the lock, or else the steering wheel will not come out even without the nut.

Yeah I found that out. Thanks guys for the help. I got it done , but I need to put it bck togetherand then I will be straight.
