OIlpan replacement

I cracked my sump on a pretty big bump. I was able to get the oil pan off, but was a major PITA. Can anyone suggest something that might make it easier? I unbolted the front swaybar, rack, and bottom bell housing and rock gaurd. Is it possible to undo the engine mount and jack the engine up a couple inches, or is it ill-advised?

Ouch, that's way Unnessisery..
Undo the motor mounts and use a floor jack on the tranny
