Green box by the ecu

There is a little green box in with my ecu. Just behind the ecu and towards the driver side. I don't know what it is or what it does. So what is it?

It's the gangsta m10 lol. When I get it swapped I'm blowin that bitch up. Or rolling it down a hill or somethin. Lol

Only 325e cars have an Idle control Module. All 325i & is cars as well as SuperETA cars have the ICM function integrated into the DME. I have no knowledge of 318's, but I'd guess that M10 engine cars might have an ICM and M42 would not.
