I picked up a silver 1986 325e fivespeed today. When I got it home I hooked the battery charger up to it to make sure things worked.
The windows both work, i think they need some lube.
But my question lies with the lock actuators, they make terrible noise when initiating, bag adjustment or is it just because the car sat for six months, or could it just be that the battery was not all the way up?
Another wierd sound seemed to be coming from the HVAC fan, i makes this weird buzzzz, but when i kick the fan on high it slowly goes away. when I turned the fan off it began the noise again.
Since i just got the car to the shop I have yet to take anything apart, but the Radio is detatched, would that have anything to do with this?
I will be starting on it tomorrow hopefully i can get it all together before December is over....
