Just tonight I started to hear a click/clunk noise from the rear end of the car. Too dark and cold to really check anything out right now but I was wondering what you guys think I should look for.
I only hear the sound when the car is slowing down, or at a constant cruising speed; under load nothing really. Way to describe it is the noise you hear when a tire is flat or has something stuck in it. Already checked that and found nothing.
In any event the car is parked till I get some time to check things out. I have about 15 days to fix it though because I'm leaving for tech school the 28th and i'll be needing to commute about 20 minutes one way every day. I'm hoping it's just a flex disc, but i am thinking it could be a CV joint or at worst a messed up diff. Any help would be great.
