    Stock seat slider removal?

I'm buying some sport vinyl seats, the thing is they don't come with sliders, can I use the sliders from my seats(non sports)?
    How do I remove/install?

Same part numbers for basic seat rails and sport seat rails, I just checked etk.

on my sport seats, the sliders were physically thinner than the non sport, the mounting locations (to the floor) were also a different thickness, and they swiveled differently, i say try it, and let us know, i know on mine it didnt work

84-85 and 86+ rails are different. There's no difference between sport and non-sport.

I used the seat tracks ( this is what we are reffering to correct?) from my stock seats('84) and they fit right up with the sports from a 318is for me.

Should work. There are 4 bolts that hold the sliders to the seat. One of them also holds the seat belt buckle in place. Once you remove that one, you'll find hte other 3 easy enough as they are the same size.

IIRC there might also be some tube pins holding them in place. If so, those come out by just pushing in the tab on the outside edge and pushing through.

Install shold just be the reverse.
