m42 worth removing or parting?

Im about to aquire a late model 318is and I'm wondering if there is worth while market for me to spend the time removing it.
It's a perfect motor, just need to know if I can do anything with it.

yup, there's a good market for the motor, 02 and e21 guys swap them in fairly regularly. I'd say its definitely worth the time to pull the motor and tranny

not sure if that's true - I believe it requires a custom motor mount.

well, according to Pete McHenry, its the most common swap kit they sell.......

besides, with as much rust repair as 02s and e21s probably require, fabbing motor mounts is no biggie :P

Jordan has the forum programed to replace the word " r-o-a-d-f-l-y" with "roach fly" automatically. It's part of the phpbb software to help block bad words.
