    M30 Intake on M20 engine?

    I heared that, but with out trust info...someone maybe that has both intakes and maybe one m20 head laying arround could messure it?

    maybe we can get some benefits from it!

      looks bit different....aanyways, should be interesting messure both and see if with minnor work and triming we can fit them!

        Nope the m30 intake manifold is as long as the complete m20 cylinder head, I've got both in my garage
        85 325e 2.7 ITB'd stroker

          I knew you had both things in your house, well that's good to know and not wate time looking for info for that.

          Another thing that I heared, is the the exhust valves fit in the m20 head (exhuast too)

            the valve stem diameter is larger, so you'd have to change the guides
            85 325e 2.7 ITB'd stroker

              the m30 is longer that the m20. will never fit.

                Mind if i ask what difference that makes?

                Get inlet manifold gaskets, one for the M20, one for the M30. Compare, then wonder where the half an inch offset is going to come from without cutting/bending runners.
