Water leaking problems.

After a few rain storms these past couple week I noticed I'm getting water on my drivers side below the carpet and passenger rear side.

I'm talking about a half inch puddle in the back carpet. I did a search and didn't find anything, so if there is already something posted, sorry. I'm going to take the carpet out today and dry it out.. so does anyone have any ideas where this water is coming from? I have no coolant leaks at all.

Check the sun roof drains, door seals, and door drains.

on my 84 318i, same problem. Turns out the firewall above the gas pedal (and behind the drivers side front fender, has a big rot hole.
