In need of stronger shifter bushings

So I finally got the beast runnin angain(my eta was outa commission for too long). She has the Z4 3.0 ssk. I am totally eating up stop buffers(the rear bushing that holds the plate down). So the shifter jerks up and down. Anyone had this problem? Were can I get a stronger stop buffer, or do I have to have one made somewere. I think the excessive force required to shift the 3.0 lever is causing these to tear, I've gone thru three in like 2 months of driving with it in; the stock one, one i had laying around, and a new one...

For those of you who dont know what a stop buffer is, it's #7
Jordan, when he has nothing bad to say, he says nothing at all. Cuz he's way better than us, right?

Are you sure your motor/transmission mounts are in good shape? If they're torn or beat up, they would cause more stress on that back bushing.

I can't imagine anyone makes a stiffer version of that part.

I would look elsewhere for your problem, and fix that... instead of fixing the result of the problem.

i have hte same SS kit in my e30, and so does my dad, and neither of us have any problems even close to this... try changing your tranny mounts, the tranny fluid.... and do you have a clutch stop??? possibly the SS kit was installed improperly... i know way too many e30 owners w/ this kit who have no problems.... i agree to look elsewhere
