    no start - fuel pump will not run unless hotwired, injectors dont buzz either, cranks

    1987 325is from the top: just got finished rebuilding engine. ~no power to fuel pump or injectors. when hotwired, the fuel pump pumps well. ~plenty of spark. ~fuses are fine. ~relays: when fuel is jumpered still no pumping. ~buddy seems to think ground problem. where to start looking for that? other notes: A/C system taken off running open headers just for the first crank (i.e. no o2 sensor)

    Check to be sure that the main relay is one with five pins.
    The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
