    here is your solution,
    -remove overhead check panel
    -remove srs bulb
    -open up the check panel and remove 2nd srs light (soldered to board)
    -sell car

      lol, sorry to say it, but yeah, that's a great solution.

      And hell, you can even sleep easy because if i remember correctly, an SRS check light usually means the system will failsafe to "always deploy".

        hmmm, a 15 yr old airbag... modern airbags require a check/replace at 10 years... and early airbag models were pretty dangerous... and often caused more damage then they prevented in low speed impacts... just a thought...

          both sensors fried in my car a week after I bought it, (recently, btw). this tar like substance leaked out, and the stupid srs light kept blinking. The shop adivsed me not to fix it, since it was probably caused by a short in the electrical system, and they'll just fry again. So, I just took out the bulb.
