Can a starter with a bad silinoid put a drain on the alternator?

Do you mean a drain on your battery? Your alterator doesn't get "drained", it produces electricity.

yea sorry, it was like 3:30am i meant battery...and by a drain i mean a constant drain not just when trying to start

There are many, many things that can put a key-off drain on your battery. Do you have an aftermarket alarm installed on your car?
