Silicon Glue for Top seal?

So i'm about to go tearing into the 1 main convertible top seal, and i wanted to know, to install a knew one, is any silicon glue ok, or is there any special glue i should buy?

duct tape and zip ties will resolve everything. :)

if youre talkin bout the front one (windsheild and front windows) then no you just force it in
