Well it's deffinatly the tranny. I jsut spent 45 minutes and undid the driveshaft and dropped the tranny. The release bearing is perfect and hte cluth looks like new. And the tranny is stuck in first gear. With the selector in neutral and when you turn it by hand it feels like first gear. Then on the new tranny going in with the selector in first gear it feels the same in turning it over. Arround christmas my grandparents are coming down. My grandpa has experience rebuilding bulldozed trannies and said the shift forks arn't hard to do. So I'll probally stick the new one in and then see if we can get the old one working again.

Car is fixed. I got the tranny on yesterday and today got the exhuast on then the UPS guy dropped off my new slave cylinder at 5p.m to I installed it and took the cr for a test drive. all 5 gears work perfectly. So the car is driveable once again. Thanks guys for the help. Next week I'll tear down the bad tranny and post pics.85 325e 2.7 ITB'd stroker
