    Ellipsoid vs Hella replacement lamps

    I could be wrong but I read somewhere that the ellipsoids are not cut right for HID's. I could be very wrong.

    What are better for HID's:

    Ellipsoid's or Hella quarts replacements?

      I'm sure there must be plenty of info if you search... but I have H1 HIDs in my Hella Ellipsoids, and all I had to do was cut a hole in the backings...

          I have hid's in my 89 ellipsoids and the cut off is perfect
