    fucking window wipers.

ok, they were frozen to the windsheild. i turned them on on accident and they didnt move so i turned them off. i scraped the ice/snow off the windsheld, turned them on. the passenger side one is like normal, but the drivers side one makes a half assed attempt to move whilst the passenger side one runs it over. what the hell is wrong and what do i do. its like having twins but ones retarded and ones normal.

      No charlie.

Take the bad wiper arm off. You will find you stripped the splines on the wiper arm or on the linkage.

      Hope for the arm.

Haha, i just did the same thing today, only trying to pull it off the windshield so i wouldn't do what you did. Really hoping for the arm like jordan said, cause I changed the linkage in my old eta around this time last year. Small metal opening+ ~6 degrees != Fun.

There is a flap that flips up to reveal a nut, take off the nut and wiggle the arm off.

Funniest shit I've read in a while! :drink:

You may also have killed one of the little ball joints on the linkage. If there is any noise from the left side of the windshield when you try to run the wipers, you're in for some FUN! You're gonna hafta remove the firewall trim in the engine bay, the blower motor and unbolt the wiper motor. That's only to get it apart! One of the biggest PITA repairs on this car!

                          Good luck.

Maybe you should just keep drinkin'!

take the plastic cap off at the base of the wiper arm. that'll reveal a nut that you have to undo. It'll be easier to take the wiper arm off if you bend the arm all the way up.
