    Frickin' putting the ECU back

So I just pulled the ECU out of my 318, chipped it (which was another hassle story), and now I am trying to put in back in.

I get the overall mechanics for placing it back in. Looking down at the assembly, I see a latch I am supposed to use for the right side. I close the latch and it magically fits.

Not so much in my case. I break shit do stuff like this and want to know if there is an easy way to make this fit. When I latch on the right side, the left side doesn't go back into place and the right side pops out. Am I supposed to just muscle this bitch back into place? I feel like there is something I am obviously missing.

There is a tab on the left side that the connector goes under to hold that end down. Like... left side first, angle in, then put the right side down and latch it. Hard to explain without pics though.
