323i cam gear the same as 325i,325e cam gear???

I need to know if the 2 are interchangeable or the same. Also can I use a 325 head gasket on the 323i????

the 325 gasket will work, but for how long? dont know. you want to use the gasket from the euro 320/323 the right part for the job. NO the cam gears are not the same. the 323 has a ditributor on the side of the motor, the 325 in on the front of the head. the 323 gear wont mount the rotor correctly.
