    harnesses???

    im doing an m50 swap in a 318i e30 can i use an e36 complete harness in this or do i heed to get the 318 harness?

    You need an m50 harness. e36 or e34. I think manual harnesses are more desired but you can use an auto harness too. I used an auto e34 one for mine.

      ok so i was going to just splice my fuel rail harness in and go that route but do you think it would be easier to just do a full e36 harness?

        Go poke around the 24V forums. You have a lot of reading to do.

        The only wiring you deal with is the X20 C101 connectors.
        Also the C103 for speed signal and fuel consumption.
