New SI board for xmas, do i still need to charge batteries?

Hey, well i found a new SI board local for 50 bucks, i was going to change my batteries anyways, but do I need to charge up the batteries on a new board? How do I go about doing it? The instructions are in German, and as far as my dad and I can tell all you have to do is switch it onto the "ON" position before installing, it doesn't say anything about the batteries or charging them.

    Any help?

throw it in, if it doesn't work take the batteries out and charge them. I would assume the batteries would come with a charge, but i could be wrong.

Good deal on a new board for $50.

if it was used then I would have changed the batteries since it was out already. On a new board though just throw it in and drive

thanks for the info. yea the shop i go to hooks me up everyonce and a while, and now that hes kinda "sponsering" me (reduced rates and cheaper parts for just having a windshield banner) it works out really nice.
