    Coolant Temp Gauge

I bought a new temp sender because the sensor that was in there was incorrect and was not giving me any reading on my instrument cluster.

New one installed, yay, temp gauge started going up. and up.....and then I noticed that anytime an electral load was initiated, the gauge moved. for example, turning the blower fan on increased the reading on the gauge. Turning the blower fan off caused it to go back down. Headlights cause the same phenomenon.

    Ideas? :(

That is probably from a bad SI board.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Shouldn't be the SI board batteries.
Or, the wiring harness/socket on the temp sensor was shorted (wrong polarity) when installed ?
