    bad start

    88 325is
my car takes a long time to start when cold it takes about 7 or 8 seconds to start long enough that it seems its not going to start but then it dose

when hot it still takes a while to get started but not as long
is there like a valve or single injector that helps with starts or my fuel pumps might not be working
or is that just how they start

I know that the m20b27's have a cold start injector, but I'm not sure about the m20b25 (what you have). Hopefully someone can tell you for sure.

cold start shouldnt really matter that much, once it is warm.
I would bet its your spark plugs are crappy. it is in the ignition either cap, rotor, plugs, or plug wires. usually fixes it every time for me on all the old e30s
