Exactly. Also enjoy the fact that you'll get good MPG and one of the lightest BMWs around. :)
The BMW 318 is back. With a vengeance.

[quote="I_like_E30"P.S. do you know any good race driving schools around in texas (austin preferably). I wanna be a racer (professional race car driver, (no nascar or drag) something european. ;)[/quote]

chances are unless you started karting when you were a wee lad your not going to do much in the way of professional driving, 9.9 chances out of 10 you will never get paid to drive.

        Can't agree more.

I don't think that the 318iS can really be considered that slow at all.
        Yes it can.

That being said, I would still recommend a 318iS over any other e30.

For the amount of money your looking to spend you could get an E30 in much better condition than the one your looking at. Do some research and pick the E30 you want (I'd go with the 318is) and then be patient. If your patient you'll find a clean E30. Oh, and I'd get something that didn't have any engine mods, too many backyard mechs out there that don't know what they're doing.

Hey...DON'T GET AN E/ES FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. Sorry. If your budget is 3500 you are well out of the region that eta cars should be priced at. I wouldn't buy one for over 1500 dollars, and that is considering it is in pristine condition. I vote for the 325i/is. You'll find one, just be patient.
I retired my E30 for now...

Listen to Mod Crazy, he speaks the truth. I have a super clean E , and someday I will upgrade Hold out for an is with plastic bumpers if possible. A 325i with new style bumpers is second choice. I just looked in the recycler and there are a few in your price range,But I live in L.A. plenty of good cars here.--Good Luck! ----Steve
