    Water Leaks

can suck my balls, gently and rhythmically.

Oh my fuck, I hate water leaks. Trying to dry fucking E30 carpet in 35 degree weather is a MAJOR pain in the butt.

Fuck it, maybe car payments aren't that bad.

    Closing SOON!

even after a brand new top, which fixed most leakage, i still get soaking wet floorboards after a good rain.

plus i figure i spend about as much in maintanence as a new car payment would be.. its really been tempting lately as th e30 starts to show its age a little more.

Yeah, but you guys have fucking CONVERTIBLES! My car has a roof and I STILL had 3" of water.

Now that I have pulled all the crap out of my car, gotten the carpet mostly dry, I am gonna pound the floor flat from whatever I ran over last year, finish some wiring I meant to do 2 years ago, replace the gas tank and fix the instrument panel too...what the hell, I am on a roll!

yeah, seem clean. Elephant trunk was clogged bad, but I cleaned it 3 months ago.

Water is dripping on my left shoe.

4 days out of the car and it is STILL wet.

I spent a lot of time tracking down leaks and found interesting ones in my rust bucket, hope this helps...

                1. The area around the wiring harness comes through the fire wall, make sure that no metal is rusted away under the gasket allowing water to come in. I epoxied a piece back in mine to make sure the gasket sealed.

                2. Remove the left front fender and make sure no rust holes are in the upper part of the wheel well/firewall. I found corrosion underneath the factory undercoating. Bang and poke around to make sure everything is solid.

                3. Also, with the fender off, you can look in from the side in the space underneath the windshield where the plastic vent/wipers are. Make sure no holes have appears there. Junk can fall through the vent below the windshield, soak up water and rust. I fixed by getting that auto epoxy panel-bonding stuff and gluing some new metal channel along the bottom, hard to reach otherwise for welding, etc...

I have posted picks her of where your car is leaking a few times last year-- check in my turbo build thread-- its a common place for these cars to rust-- and weakens the front strut towers pretty good too.
