I have a 92 318ic, and the tach, and fuel economy gauges are dead, as well as the si lights. I have read that you can't replace the batteries in an air bag equipped car.Is that true?

Also, if I can replace them, do I use 2 - 1.5 volt batteries, or 2 - 3volt batteries, like these Sanyo http://www.radioshack.com/product/in...ductId=2829397#
