    what adhesive can i use?

    my shifter came off and separated from the plastic part. the inside of the shifter is wood. what adhesive can i use to bond it? thanks

      Polyurethane glue like Elmer's Pro-Bond or Gorilla Glue would work well. I'd do it with the pieces out of the car, and use it sparingly, as it swells when it cures.

          You know, same thing happened to me man :( I took of the plastic and wrapped the it with some electrical tape.

          You can also use two part epoxy like Farbin said

              I'd say the adhesion problem was on the plastic liner side. Scuff that and the inside of the knob up with 180 or 220. Clean it with alcohol before you glue it back and that should solve it. A few strategic drops of gorilla glue or silicone will do the trick.

                2 part epoxy, unless you plan on takin it apart ever. I siliconed mine on and it is still holding.
