    Blower motor...

Alright, it was my fault for not checking the DYI section until it was too late. I recently switched out dashboards and instead of removing the HVAC cover plate I removed the cables from the blower motor. Dash is in, but I can't seem to get the damn cables hooked back up properly. If anyone has any "tricks of the trade" or could possibly post a pic of how they attach I'll give you a long distance high five!!! :)

    Thanks,

I'm not sure I understand which cables you are talking about. There is an electrical harness that goes to the HVAC control panel and the Bowden cables that go to flap doors. If inspired enough, I can get some pictures of that area tonight.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

To bump this thread: I'm specifically speaking of the BOWDEN cables. I'd like to know how this assembly attaches to the main heater box (blower, heat core) you get the idea. I was an idiot and removed clips (#7) and now I can't properly reattach the cables. I also feel I may have stretched in the process.

Hey yeah how the hell do those #7 clips go back on. The plastic all around my controls got smashed when my stereo got stolen so I just replaced the control panel, I couldn't get those #7 clips to go back on so I left them off, so far it has been working, the cables just stay in their little notches.

So on your dash do you have the cables attached to the sliders, but you don't know how they connect to the other end? Hmm I'll look back inside of mine tomorrow and see how those cables go in. Hopefully I will be able to help
West German BMWs, they just don't make the same as they did before the wall fell.
^Case in point: Auto-Repair Technology. Everytime my car isn't starting or acting up I let it sit, sometimes for an hour, sometimes for days. But it eventually fixes itself.

Thanks to all. I recently found someone selling a complete system. I hope I don't have to take the dash back out.

            (Thanks for the picture)
