E30 M3 cluster on e30 325is

I finally got my E30 M3 cluster. The goal is to install it on my 325is.

I already know I need to use the 325is tachometer card, BUT how do I hookup the E30 M3 oil pressure gauge? This M3 cluster has an oil pressure gauge in place of the MPG gauge. Any ideas on how to make this read correctly?

My MPG gauge was not working properly anyway due to the M50 conversion.

I would imagine the easiest method would be to acquire a E30 M3 oil temp sending unit and run a wire from the pin for the oil temp sensor on the cluster to the sending unit.

That is exactly right, you need the e30 m3 oil temp sending unit, and with a small amount of wiring ( +12, G, S) and it will work fine
