Ok I hate to ask for help but im lost.

Okay I have a strange poping creaking noise coming from the rear of the car. That's been going on for a few weeks.

So far I in the last few months Ive put rebuilt half shafts, new subframe bushings, reinforced my subframe, installed a IE camber kit camber only and koni shocks. I'm also only running upper spring pads.

Well the sound only happens when I start from a stand still or come to a dead stop. Under normal driving conditions.

Ive checked to make sure everything is tight and nothing is moving. The thing is it seems to be getting louder?

    Ive checked
Shockmounts, c/vs, diff mounts, wheelbearings, rtabs, subframe for cracks and bushings, I'm lost?

Again it only does it at take off no matter how easy I am on the car.

Hello 416stroker - Did this start after you replaced these parts? If so recheck all your securing fasteners. Have you looked at your Guibo/Flex Disk and the whole Drive Shaft. GL

Yes it started after all of those parts. A while after I did those about 3 months ago. And this has been going on for 3 weeks.

All of those parts are in great shape. The drive shaft has been rebuilt and has servicable U-joints Everything apears to be ok?

Sounds like your diff, does it also happen around turns when you get on it?

No only on starts at verry low speed. Not when I shift or anything doesnt sould like a diff clunking to me.

Even if I rock my drive train back and forth when its on stands everything is still tight?

I forgot to say it also got wheel bearings when I did my halfshafts.

Im just nervious somthings going to happen like Nicks car. IM going to check the subframe body mounts when the sun comes up.

i ve had a sould liek this for some time. Found out it was a broken rear sway bar link.( sound only happens if I drop the clutch sorta hard) I changed the rear diff fluid to 75/90 syn oil and now going very slow in 1st or 2nd with just a lil gas to make a slow turn the rear end makes a funky noise. I just hope its not the LSD going to shit or the fluid I put in is making the lsd sorta lock up. ( I have a S 2.93 lsd )

Im not running a rear swaybar. Shock mounts seem fine and the diff mount looks new.

The car seems to give my a lill more feedback and It helped out with the way my car used to just want to plow threw corners. But I do have more body roll. Some one who races Spec E30 told me to take it off and see if it drive any better and i did like it, so I kept it that way. It was also bent verry bad on the drivers side.

Ok after spending some more time on it just now. With the car on the ground I can grab the passenger side wheel by the spokes and push in and pull out on it It makes the sound. Its not like anythings lose the hubs tight and everything. On the drivers side it does nothing? Its making the sound from the body rocking back and fourth?

So you think its suframe related I dont want to pull my subframe again.
