    Wipers acting waky.

    Hello.
    My wipers are always on.
    The wipers go through the speeds fine except for
    the off.

    Does not turn off.

    I just take the relay out to disable so they're not on everytime
    I drive.

    With the A/C button pressed, wipers will function correctly. Back to normal.
    Every position works and stays off when needed.

    I use the A/C switch to activate an electric fan btw.

    Any ideas of what to look for? How to diagnose? .

    That is confusing. If you are saying that with the relay out, the wipers work normally when the A/C button is engaged, then I'd have to say that there are major problems with the car's wiring.
    The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

      With the relay out it's disabled. It can not work without the relay.

      But what I am saying is that with the A/C on, the wipers will work
      normally.

      With the car on (no a/c engaged), the wipers will just keep wiping even if the wiper switch is in the
      off position.

      That is why I need to remove the wiper relay.
      To be clear, the a/c system is removed. I only use it to engage the aux fan.

        I rather think that you have a wiring fault. The wiper switch grounds the single, slow, or fast control lead to operate the wipers. Either something is holding one of those grounded or something is powering the motor when the A/C is off. You are going to have to dig through the wiring to find the cause. If aftermarket electronics have been added, that would be my first suspicion.

            i had the same issue with my E30M3 and found a broken wire at the windscreen washer pump motor(i had been doing something in that area and may have moved the harness enough to break the wire and the problem started after that and noticed the sprayers were not working so went looking and found the one wire still attached to the pump hanging on by one copper strand ) ,i never did study the electrical diagram to figure out how that would cause the wipers top stay running but fixing the wire solved it for mine ,as your AC compressor is in that same area i would check all the wiring around the washer bottle and AC compressor for broken/shorted wires

              That has to be it then.

              When I wired in the fan the bare wires on the
              radiator thermoSwitch were grounding out so the fuse
              would always pop.

              I thought it was just the fan draw. So I put in a 60amp,
              and burned up those wires that go to the stock thermo switch.
              That's around the time it started.

              Hope it didn't burn out the wires at the fuse box or under dash. :(
              Any guesses where it could be causing the error?

                "Fixed" !

                Cut the 3 pack of melted wire going to the radiator thermoswitch.
                Checked to see if anything else is burned on the way to the fusebox. Nothing.

                Opened up the fuse box and ultra melted wires going into the board, down, out of
                the box.

                Wrapped it with E-tape as much as I could and fucked with the wire going into the body.
                "FIXED"

                Operates normally now.
                Now I know it was a bare wire grounding out somewhere between the fuse box, and the firewall.
                I'd have to take all that shit apart and make a new harness to really make it right, so fuck it.
                "it's fixed" and not messing with it anymore. Shit. :(

                  until another wire that the shielding is burned off of corrodes or breaks... then you'll be fucked all over again
