on my M20B27 block, just below the dipstick is a pad with this number stamped into it: 21616183 It does not correlate to anything I can find, either on the car, in realoem, or on any message board. It is NOT a VIN, as the number is too long, and removing either the 2 or the 3 from either end results in garbage info ( it isnt an 87 740 with an M30). It doesnt appear to be a part number for the block, so any ideas for what it is?? and before some smartass starts, it isnt the stock horsepower either :D
