    Bad Start

I just got a new 325is and a couple times when trying to start the car up, i can hear the starter(i think) spinning, but it sounds like its not connecting to the crankshaft so it wont turn over. after a couple tries, it starts. can anyone troubleshoot the problem here?

If it starts after a couple tries, there could be teeth missing from your flywheel. Or the Solenoid could be sticking and it finally unsticks after a couple tries and kicks the starter gear out.
