Steering wheel sticking in one place intermittently..

Problem was there a while ago and went away for a bit, but after today it has come back. I'll put on a bit of lock and expect it to self centre but it just stays in that spot. Doesnt happen every time I turn the wheel but often enough for me to get annoyed with it :hitler:

Ideas? Maybe P/S pump?

steering rack leaking internally, i used to heve a car that did this (not an E30) replaced the rack with a remanned one and no more sticky

My WRX was doing this, it was the universal joint in the steering linkage.
