Looking to replace tranny and differential fluid...

Any recommendation on what I should get? Its for my 91 318is 5spd.

Planning to do both the tranny and diff fluid....the same time.

Redline MTL for the transmission, perhaps using Redline MT-90 for the final 0.3 quart. It's difficult to find another brand of synthetic GL-4 fluid

Any synthetic GL-5 fluid will work for the diff. You'll probably be paying about $10/quart.

Redline MTL for trans, Redline 75w90 or 75w140. Do not use the 75w140 if you have a limited slip diff. I have an lsd so i used the 75w90. Bavauto sells both fluids.

I suggest a rinse and refill myself. Just to get out any little piece that didn't make it on the drain. Get a plug with a magnet also.
