    the worst part of this, will be driving to your local glass shop being hit in the face by road debris and insects.

      Yeah thats not going to be fun. A friend of mine who was restoring his 2002 had to drive his car 30 miles one the freeway with no glass at all. I bet that was fun.

      Well it looks like I'm just going to have to bit the bullet and buy a new windshield but before I am still going to try the sand it maybe just in the corner, just so I can get a feel for how tedious it would be before I go and buy a new one.
