Ok, so a week or so ago I put new pads and rotors up front (ate vented w/. hawk hp+ pads). I bedded them the way Hawk said to. Even the first night after breaking them in, they would grind as the car came to a stop, grinding most just before the car stops completely. It does not do this when they are completely cold, or completely warmed up. Usually only 10 min. after driving it starts, then stops doing it after a few more stops. I also noticed that if I go in a store or something and they're warm, when I come back out they grind for the first couple minutes before getting up to full temp. Hawk claims the HP+ are completely usable in in the cold. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

HP+'s are noisy, you didn't know this beforehand?
They're a true street/track pad, with the compromise being in cold weather performance & overall noise & dust.

I expected noise, as in tons of squeeling, and don't mind it at all since they stop great. It is just weird because I thought the noise would be consistent on each side. I was also prepared for the rotor-eating. What I didn't expect was being able to FEEL them grinding. Even my passengers can feel it. On the website it also says they perform normally in the cold. If all this is normal then that's fine; I just want to make sure there isn't something wrong. And is there a proper or better way to warm them up to temp? Thanks guys.
