    M30 transmission question...

Are the automatics the same in the 735i and 535i?

More specifically - is the auto in a 1988 BMW 735i and same as the auto in a 1990 BMW 535i? Real OEM is showing different part numbers though...

From my quick search on ebay and real oem - looks like the e32 shared the automatic (and looks like 5spd) with the e28. Comments?

    Thanks!

Yea sorry - I couldn't find an auto for a 735i on ebay. I realize my link to a 5spd was confusing.

Blue, you're right - I'm guessing that since 5spds are that way that automatics are too?
