    Post pic of ICV..

Can someone please post a Idle Control Valve pic on the m10 motor. I really don't know too much about the BMW intake manifold.

How about for an M42? I've looked all over trying to find one.

            pic of the Icv.....

Ok on my ICV one of the output holes or little nipple on the ICV itself isn't blocked off is it supposed to be blocked off or just open atmosphere? I sprayed it with carb cleaner and checked all my vacumm lines and still no results could it mean that my ICV is broke or that I'm not spraying the right hole. I couldn't be that I'm spraying wrong becuase I took all the hoses off and sprayed in all of them. Please help me out!!

#1, you probably just ruined your ICV with carb cleaner, you need to use an electrical component safe cleaner. you can get it at an autoparts store (may be advertized as alternator cleaner or something).
When you spray cleaner in one of the open ports on the ICV it should come out of the other one. Is that what you were trying to ask?
I don't understand why you were asking for pictures of the ICV in the first place. What are you trying to accomplish? What's the problem with it?

You're not likely to damage your ICV with carb cleaner, but you can fuck up your O2 sensor.

Always use "throttlebody cleaner" -- the difference is that this shit says it's ok for O2 sensors.
