    gutting the cat.

My cat may be clogged. As a temporary fix I may just gutt the stock cat out until I get the new one. What to do you guys think? Would it be too loud?

got to agree...the amount of work it would take to gut the stock cat (givin that it is in stock form) you should cut it out and scrap it instead of tryin to break down the platinum platium (its a real bitch)

What makes you think your cat is clogged? (By clogged I mean restricting flow, not just a contaminated catalyst surface.)

That was a problem with cats from the 1970s -- "beads" instead of "honeycomb". It's unlikely with an original e30 cat.

Well i'm thinking it's a clog in the exhaust but i was just saying it may be in the Cat. The car has no balls to begin with but it seems even worse. I'll try a tune up this weekend if that doesn't help I'll look into the exhaust.
