My cat may be clogged. As a temporary fix I may just gutt the stock cat out until I get the new one. What to do you guys think? Would it be too loud?

What makes you think your cat is clogged? (By clogged I mean restricting flow, not just a contaminated catalyst surface.)
That was a problem with cats from the 1970s -- "beads" instead of "honeycomb". It's unlikely with an original e30 cat.Comment

Well i'm thinking it's a clog in the exhaust but i was just saying it may be in the Cat. The car has no balls to begin with but it seems even worse.
