    Tach,Radio, Interior lights problem

SO im driving doing like 40mph, and all the sudden i look down and my RPM gauge or my speedo isnt working my radio shut off then i got to much friends house n realized my interior lights werent working either?

My gas gauge still reads tho, also i have a water temp gauge and its geting powerd off where the radio does, and that gauge is still working fine. The left light on the Cluster still works n the right light doesnt n i pulled the bulb out n tested it, it was still good.

i check all the fuzes there all still good. Not sure where to go from here

    thanks!

I was having the same problem as you. Check the dimmer on your head light switch. I forget what the problem is, something like a serge of electric can fry a switch in there or something. You can short the switch or buy a new high light switch assembly off someone for 15 dollars like I did. Worth checking out at least.

Also check out wedophones website for the electrical troubleshooting manual. http://www.wedophones.com/BMWManualsLead.htm

Dude that could possibly be a board issue. Maybe just some of the bulbs are out though.

You may have checked the fuses, but check them again. I had the same thing happen to me(at least the interior lights and the speedo) but I'd double check the owners manual and it will tell you exactly which fuses control what. I know the first time I checked my fuses, I thought they were all fine also, but sure enough one of them was blown.

Well, the green wire that goes to C200 is powered in run and start. It supplies the injection electronics, so that's a good place to check. See page 0670-3.

ya i check the bulb, n its still good i dont have a manual

also wasnt sure if i could still go by the manual since it a swaped car. Some of the fuze box lay outs i find online, i need a more powerful fuze then it calls for
