i was reading up that on the m42 u can adjust the intake came by 5 degrees advanced and itll free up some extra power. justwondering how hard it is to do? or how much would it cost for a shop to do it. thx.

Yea, i think the m42 cam gears are slotted. But I wouldnt go messing around with it, unless you are really trying to dyno tune a motor to extract everything.

e9nine has done it. I believe that all you have to do is take the valve cover and the cams are right there. Unbolt the cam, adjust and rebolt it.
