Bogged on the hwy, won't rev, now won't start.

Posted on bimmerforums, but no luck, so hopefully you guys can solve this.

I was driving along for ~an hour just fine and my car started to occasionally miss. Just one little skip. Then a while later all the sudden it starts bogging down and running like crap. I pull over, check fluids, start it back up, it runs fine, I hesitantly pull back into traffic. A couple minutes later it does it again. It idles perfectly and after idling for a minute it drives fine again. Does it again a couple minutes later, only now it won't rev past ~1500rpm. After sitting for a few mintues, it's fine again. The problem just keeps getting more frequent and severe, revving to less and less rpm when it happens. It wouldn't start for a few days. I replaced the fuel filter, pump, and FPR in that time. Then suddenly one day it starts, running crappy at first but smooths out and runs fine. I drove it around ~20min to make sure. A couple days later while driving it starts doing what it was doing before where it runs fine when I start it, but a couple minutes into driving it starts missing and bogging. After I let it idle a minute it'll run fine for a minute, then start to run like shit.

A couple days ago it began not even starting again. While it was running really crappy Right before it died, the CEL came on and I get code 1215 - airflow sensor. Don't know if this is related to my problem or maybe just because the car was really struggling to run.

Here's a vid of it trying to rev the first day it screwed up.

This is it barely starting after ~5 tries after the symptoms had gotten worse. It smooths out after running a minute.

      Could be your crank sensor.

While reading your post my guess was going to be Air flow meter. Then you said you got a code for it. I would guess it's that.

Ok, I've read lots about people having trouble with their AFMs, but I'm having trouble finding out how exactly you can test to see if it's the problem or not. How can I test it to either determine that as the problem or eliminate it as the culprit?
