baahahahaha, those keys are tied to EACH CAR. Each key can only start one car, and it can never be reprogrammed, flashed or anything else. Whoever buys that is going to be sorely disappointed.Comment

Those United Auto ones are your best bet. Price isn't too bad compared to just a blank from BMW even if you don't have/use the alarm setup. That is if you really wanted that type of key. You can just take that blank to any locksmith to get cut. Trying to rig one up is too much work when you factor in parts and time cause the United Auto is less than 40 bucks. I tried making one from a VW key once, it didn't work.
