    Cluster problems

two weird problems with my cluster ever since i put the new motor in.

wont rev past 3700 for some reason, the car will rev fine but the cluster doesn't show it and the needle stops at the same point every time.

the second problem being my temperature gauge, it goes crazy while driving especially in higher rpms but at idle it reads fine.

not sure if these are cluster problems or sensor problems

    any help? thanks

Bad connection on the pulse sensor? Bad pulse sensor? Si board batteries?

Check the ground nuts on the backside of the cluster, there's one behind the temp gauge and one behind the fuel gauge. If that still doesn't solve it, you probably need to replace the SI board batteries.

Jumpy temp gauge could be the missing nut on the back for it's ground OR Cold solder joints on the main board.
