    Cluster Help Please.

I have been searching and reading threads and hopefully I can get some info on what I need to fix. My cluster doesn't work. All of the needles function for 1 Sec. when I first start my car then they stop. The dash lights work. My fan only comes on when on high during that first Sec. of start up as well. I saw in a thread that when heater blower only works on high that means it's the Core? Coil?

Now is this the SI board? A wiring issue? Gears? Or possibly a combination of all including the blower problems? I plan on doing all the work myself. I know I won't know until I take it all apart but I just wanted thoughts on why everything works for 1 sec. when I start my car then fails. Oh and where should I buy the batteries for indicator lights?

    Thanks

For the cluster problems, it could be a number of things. Probably your SI batteries though...

For your blower... I have the same issue off and on. I've been looking at this site for a possible fix...may help you. I haven't tried it yet.

Fan is not related to your cluster issues...fan is controller by the resistor pack accessed from the inside the engine bay on the firewall...

Cluster could be many things....you'll have to pull it apart to start with.

I'm having the same problem with the cluster. Do you remember which fuse it was? Any insight you can share with me so I can fix this? Thanks.

Turns out it was fuse #10. Didn't realize it would be so obvious. :S Thanks
