use VERY soapy, hot water when you go to put the CAB on the control arm.. just let it soak in there for an hour, makes it much easier to slide on. if you can, I'd try to get the bushing onto the control arm before I put it on the car (it'd be easier to get the bushing on that way), but you have to get the car back on the ground before the soapy water dries up completely since the bushing has to settle. after you do this, don't drive the car for at least a few hours while it dries.
I was planning on using KY. Ryan Stewart said that it worked pretty well.
Control arm bushings? 50/50 water/dish detergent. I'd be a bit scared that KY would never like, dry up/evaporate.
I couldn't use extensions on the inner ball joints cause my m10 got in the way. Well, maybe one side? I forget. I ended up using an adjustable wrench and tying a piece of rope to the end of it. Make sure the rope is long enough to reach someplace where you can squat and pull (as opposed to lie on your back and push) and it popped them loose for me. Mad ghetto, right?
Car is up on jack stands now waiting for the rotors to cool.
I just drove around for 2 hours trying to find the CA nuts. M14 x 1..5 is a really uncommon size I guess. And I hate how Napa stores are individually owned and none of them carry the same stuff. I went to two different Napas and the 3rd one finally had them - $2.13 each.

New control arms usually always come with them.
If you have air, everything you are doing can be easily popped off with an impact gun.

Yeah, I have an electric impact gun that I'm using.
I bought OE Lemfoerder CAs from eap4parts.com and they didn't come with any, but the tierods did :? .
I'm soaking the inner ball joint nuts in WD-40 right now. The driver's side one I can get to with a couple of long extensions, however, the passenger side one is partially covered by part of the motormounting system. Napa wanted $23 for a 22mm crow-foot so I'm going to figure something else out. The M10 is small so it shouldn't be a problem - lots of room to work.
I did my CA's this month and the new inner ball joint nuts that I bought from the dealer were 21mm while the old ones were 22mm. You may want to check you new ones before you go buy a crowfoot.

Yeah, I'm not going to buy it. I'm just going to change the motormounts at the same time I install the new CAs so that I can just move the plate that's blocking the nut.
The bentley says to use a puller to separate the outter tie rod from the steering rod (inner Im assuming). I need to remove the outter so that I can slide the boot off and remove the inner rod. WTF is a puller? Like a gear puller? Is there something I can use besides the puller to separate the rods?
