    fuel tank, transfer pipe replacement

I need to replace that hard line that connects both sides of the fuel tank, on an early body. The pipe busted from all that snowfall that the northeast just got. I cracked one side loose, but the other side hasn't budged yet (rotten to hell). I might not be able to break it loose, without damaging the tank. I'd love to put a torch to it, but I am not that stupid.

Now that one side is off and broken, I tried to slip some OE 8mm fuel hose over the broken end, but that pipe is just a little too big. Is there a "size up" fuel hose that might fit?

I wish I could just slip hose over the one end, and then source a replacement ball and cup style fitting, and reconnect, and be good to go.

I could also, shoot the moon, hit the parts counter first thing in the morning, and order the pipe, and hopefully it doesnt take 2 weeks to get it. Then I am still left fighting that other fitting that hasn't loosened up!

I've also been blasting that fitting periodically with Wurth's Rust Off, which is some premium rust penetrant. Someone reccomended applying brake fluid to the fitting, maybe?
