I can answer at least the second one. :D

You can buy any decent adjustable fuel pressure regulator, there isn't an M20 specific one.

They should, double check with where you get it from. Matt325is (turbo guy) told me I could use any unit, just to check with them when you buy it.

          1. Rods depend on pistons, the I rods are 135mm long and the eta 130mm long. Either can be used with the Eta Crank. But the pistons have different pins heights, so your pistons could end up below the deck of the block, over the block, or just right.
          2. any remote adjustable regulator will work, but you need an adapter block to fit the m20 fuel rail. If you handy with a drill bit and Jbweld one can be made with brass fittings from a hardware store.
          3. Just ussing some sort of Hose Splice connect the Hose coming off the back of the cylinder head to the One heading to the Thermostat housing.
          4. need to know more info before giving you camshaft advice, what cylinder head? What fuel injection? etc...

In that case you want the I rods. Machining them is Tricky. You want to get them clamped into a mill so the piston is perfectly level, Then just slowly remove material in the high sections untill 3mm is gone. I think you won't even tough some parts of the piston. Then once they are shave test fit a piston to make sure you don't need to enlarge the valve reliefs any.(you'll partialy remove part of one)

Simple, once one piston is machined. Install a rod onto it and bolt it to the Crank(no rings needed). Bolt down the cylinder head and get everythign to TDC and install the timing belt. Turn the engine over very slowly by hand to make sure the machine piston won't contact the valves on the I head. The if it does figure out where and remove metal, then you have a template you can do the 5 other pistons off of.

a 280/280 is a good middle of the road cam. I was going to go with a 282 in my m30(but decided i didn't have the money) I wish I had now as I did end up having the money. But I've got some other power mods for the m30 planned.
