aftermarket steering wheel horn button hackery

So in an attempt to try to rebadge my horn button, i found out some interesting stuff. from what i can tell all aftermarket buttons are made the same. the logo is basically just like a shift knob plaque, without the adhesive backing. it seems the best solution is to add a sticker to the top with it removed and then reassemble it

so push in these tabs and push them up (there's three of them)

and it basically just comes apart

this is what the actual insert itself looks like

someone should make some BMW logo inserts. ;)

Good info, I ran into this situation when debating on which Momo button I'd use. Hopefully that same basic architecture holds true for most horn buttons.
